I was introduced to Aikido my freshman year at UWL. While I don't have the finances or schedule to continue practicing now that I'm no longer a student, the philosophy and inner peace Aikido teaches has left a permanent imprint. On the more physical side, the tumbles it emphasizes have already saved me from injury outside the dojo.
Having now read an earlier entry I caught the notion that you "alienate new staff". To this I thought I should tell you that when I first joined you were one of the most welcoming and helpful. I don't know that I've outright said that before.
